How to integrate Idexx In-house labs and workflow

Idexx In-house lab Integration.

Step 1. Configure your Idexx IVLS credentials on VETport by going to the marketplace.

B, Select the IDEXX Vetlab Station application and add credentials.

Step 2.  Once the integration is completed please map ( link ) the VETport plan items to the Idexx in-house test codes.

To map please click on the menu option ( Hamburger button ) >>>>Labs Radiology and worklists>>>>Under Primary Setup, please click Idexx in-house.

B. To map ( link ) the VETport plan items to the Idexx in-house code.

1. Search the Idexx in-house code test code

2. Click the edit ( pen button ) to link

3. Search the VETport plan item to map 

4. Select the desired VETport plan item

5. Click save

PLEASE NOTE : The plan item you are mapping should have the Idexx Inhouse trigger enabled on the plan sub-category level

Step 3. Once the VETport plan items are mapped to the Idexx in-house code, please perform the mapped plan item on the plan page.

NOTE : The plan item should be placed in the cart or invoiced to start the request.

b: Once the plan item is placed in the cart or invoiced, please click on Idexx in-house Request - TRF to confirm the order



C: You can run the test on your Idexx in-house machine.

(You will be getting a hint on your Idexx in-house machine and you be able to see the test required on the Idexx in-house worklist on VETport ( See the second image below ) 


Step 4: To see the completed and to approve the result, please follow the below steps.

To map please click on the menu option ( Hamburger button ) >>>>Labs Radiology and worklists>>>>In-House Lab Reporting>>>>Idexx Vetconnect.

a : To see the completed result please click on final reports.

b : To approve the result please click on the green check mark.

c : To save and approve results to the patient health record.

d : To send a test result to the client via email.
