Putting in a written prescription
There are two ways to put in default prescription.
1st we will show you how to add prescription directions while in the work flow. After you have put in a plan item to print the prescription label click on the Rx on the left hand side. 
A window will open to write the prescription. 
The 2nd way to add prescription is in your Formulary
To access the formulary click on the hamburger in the upper left hand corner and click on EMR Manager then click on Formulary. This will take you to the formulary table. To add a prescription to a plan go to the bottom of the formulary and click on Prescription and Details. Click on the green pen in the box on the left to edit the line and add the prescription. When you are done click on the pen again to save the line changes. Also on this page is where you can mark your control substance so VETport can track them for you. Click the appropriate boxes on the line.
